Sometimes it’s an artist working with their hands. Sometimes it’s someone who turned a good idea into a small business. Sometimes the maker is Mother Nature. And sometimes it’s a writer, artist, or thinker creating something worth passing along.

naiya republic is a collection of things I find beautiful, useful, unusual, inspiring, or some combination of the four.

Handmade objects. Everyday goods. Natural oddities. Books worth keeping close. And occasionally, something I make myself.

Everything begins with a maker

Hi, I’m Amy.

naiya republic started because I wanted a place for the things that make me stop and look twice. The slightly strange thing. The beautifully made thing. The thing you didn’t know you wanted until you saw it.

What began as a small idea has turned into something I genuinely love building, from meeting makers and setting up shop at markets to, more recently, making a few things myself.

There isn’t a formula for what makes the cut. I just know it when I see it.
